Toxique - The much anticipated 'Toxique', by Françoise Sagan is now available on your BlackBerry.
Sagan's diary about her recovery from morphine addiction. In this unpublished text, the french writer Francoise Sagan gives an account of her painful detox in mid-century France. She observes herself, shares her thoughts, her readings and her immense fear of death, emptiness and loneliness.
Poetry and illustration perfectly matched. Bernard Buffet, the well-known french painter, was perfectly able to fully match the violence of the text of Sagan. Each page is illustrated with sharp and violent drawings, which reflect the overwhelming pain of the writer.
Toxique Françoise Sagan Drawings by Bernard Buffet Stock, 2009 French only
PLEASE NOTE : The text is in French only (for now).
